Osteopathic care to help you feel and function at your best.

Osteopathic Treatment & Its Benefits

Osteopathic treatment is a manual therapy that supports your body’s ability to self-heal and self-regulate by identifying areas of restriction, asymmetry, or tissue change that may be contributing to pain and interfering with how your body works as a whole.

These issues can affect your muscles, joints, circulation, nervous system, and more. By addressing the root cause (not just the symptoms) osteopathic treatment helps restore alignment, improve mobility, and bring your body back into balance.

Benefits include:

  • Reduced pain and discomfort

  • Improved joint mobility and overall movement

  • Better circulation and lymphatic drainage

  • Enhanced function of the body as a whole

Hi, I’m Emily!

I’m a certified Osteopathic Manual Practitioner, graduating from the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy, the leading provider of Osteopathic education in Canada for over 20 years.

I believe in your body’s innate ability to self-heal and self-regulate when given the right conditions. Using a hands-on, non-invasive manual therapy, my practice focuses on restoring structural balance and improving motion to help you feel and function at your best.

During your appointment:

  • I’ll begin with a head-to-toe assessment to identify areas of asymmetry, restriction of motion, and dysfunction to identify the root cause of symptoms you may be experiencing.

  • Then, using hands-on manual therapy, I’ll work on restoring proper function and symmetry to encourage blood flow, nerve signals, and motion throughout your body.

Each treatment is tailored to you and may look different from session to session, depending on your needs, discomforts, or pains.

I was drawn to Osteopathy because of its holistic, whole-body approach to health. Rather than focusing on isolated symptoms or conditions, we look at the person as a whole—where structure and function are closely related. My background in kinesiology and osteopathy has trained me to think critically about the body and how to support your unique healing process.
